On February 7, 2008, the Montgomery County Health Department will respond to the impact of HIV and AIDS in the city’s African American communities by providing rapid HIV testing by request in our Norristown Clinic from 8am to 3pm in observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD).
Nationwide, more than 2,000 organizations in more than 800 cities will participate in the eighth annual observance of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
NBHAAD is a nationwide mobilization effort designed to encourage African Americans across the United States to get educated, get tested, get treated and get involved with HIV/AIDS, as it continues to devastate Black communities.
